Male Breast Reduction Procedure
Removal of the fatty and glandular tissue of the breast which creates the abnormally full appearance can usually be achieved through liposuction alone, leaving only small inconspicuous scars. Rarely, in extreme cases with poor elasticity of the skin, larger incisions to redrape the skin may be necessary.
The male breast reduction procedure is typically performed on an outpatient basis. The surgery can be performed in the hospital or at our center, depending on your general medical condition. Frequently, other breast sculpting procedures are performed in conjunction with male breast reduction. These procedures include the reduction of large areolae (colored areas around the nipples), the correction of inverted nipples, and the reduction of overly prominent nipples.
